Welcome

Thanks for stopping by! This site represents the beginning of my journey through the Digital Education Leadership (MEd) program at Seattle Pacific University.

I will use this space to share my thoughts, experiences, and reflections during my time in the DEL program and over time, this site will also serve as my bPortfolio.  Use the links below to navigate or the menu across the top.

The majority of my site and blog posts are structured around the International Society for Technology in Education’s (ISTE) Standards for coaches.  There are seven specific standards and you can use the links below to learn more about them and see evidence of how I have met each standard.

Change Agent

Connected Learner

The majority of my blog posts here are for the Digital Education Leadership program, but I hope to continue updating with other content too.

Technology Philosophy

My general technology philosophy is that it should help and not become a hinderance to people. I know that it’s not always possible to view each new technology hardware or software in this manner, but it’s my hope that by providing training, documentation, and access to support, that I can help make a variety of tools more approachable and easier to use.

That said, I also have a Digital Learning Mission Statement, where I expand on my philosophy in more detail.

See About Me to learn more about some of the technology tools I use and support.

I would love to connect with you.  Please consider leaving a comment or go to Contact to see more ways to reach me.

What I'm Listening To Right Now

I watched Hospital Playlist on Netflix this last year and felt comforted by the songs selected and the stories told during the show.

So I made a playlist of my own that incorporates those songs and others that have also provided a sense of comfort and encouragement during this stressful year.  I hope you enjoy!
