All about me
Thank you for taking the time to read my site. My name is Karen. I’m a graduate student in the Digital Education Leadership Master’s program at Seattle Pacific University.
I currently work in the Educational Technology and Media office at Seattle Pacific University. My role consists of systems administration, program and course development/instructional design, project management, serving as the accessibility liaison for my department, technology support and much more.
I am familiar with and administrate or have previously used the following learning tools: Canvas, Zoom, Panopto, TurnItIn, PollEverywhere, Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor, TechSmith Relay, Blackboard, Moodle, Badgr, FlipGrid, Padlet, Kahoot!, ellucian’s Banner Info System (SIS) and have integrated a variety of book publisher LTI’s for instructor use.
I also regularly use the following tools at work: Microsoft O365, Keynote, Numbers, Pages, Adobe Spark, Creative Cloud (PhotoShop and Acrobat specifically), Slack, Google Docs and other Apps, Atlassian Confluence Wiki and JIRA (Ticket and Project Management), Multi-site WordPress, SiteCore, Trello, and SmartEvals.

I have worked to make my site align with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA Standards, but I recognize that this still may not be enough to ensure the content on my site is accessible for all.
